چکیده

Emission 57Fe Mössbauer spectroscopy (eMS), following the implantation of radioactive 57Mn+ ions, has been used to study temperature dependence hyperfine magnetic field at Fe sites in Ba-doped BiFeO3 (BFO) thin films. 57Mn β decays (t1/2 = 90 s) 14.4 keV state 57Fe, thus allowing online eMS measurements a selection sample temperatures during Mn implantation. The were performed on two film BFO samples, 88 nm and 300 thick, doped 15% with Ba ions. samples prepared by pulsed laser deposition SrTiO3 substrates. X-ray diffraction analyses showed that films grew tetragonal distorted structure. spectra films, measured absorber range 301 K–700 K, comprised central pair paramagnetic doublets sextet feature wings. component was resolved into (i) attributed interactions Fe3+ ions located octahedral (Bhf); (ii) induced lattice defects, which characterized distribution BDistr. probes site room value Bhf 44.5(9) T. At higher temperatures, becomes much weaker, contribution disappearing above 700 K. Simultaneous analysis Ba–BFO shows variation follows Brillouin curve for S 5/2.

Local Magnetoelectric Effect in La-Doped BiFeO3 Multiferroic Thin Films Revealed by Magnetic-Field-Assisted Scanning Probe Microscopy

Multiferroic La-doped BiFeO3 thin films have been prepared by a sol-gel plus spin-coating process, and the local magnetoelectric coupling effect has been investigated by the magnetic-field-assisted scanning probe microscopy connected with a ferroelectric analyzer. The local ferroelectric polarization response to external magnetic fields is observed and a so-called optimized magnetic field of ~4...

Improved Resistance Switching Stability in Fe-Doped ZnO Thin Films Through Pulsed Magnetic Field Annealing

Five percent of Fe-doped ZnO (ZnO:Fe) thin films were deposited on Pt/TiO2/SiO2/Si substrates by a spin-coating method. The films were annealed without (ZnO:Fe-0T) and with a pulsed magnetic field of 4 T (ZnO:Fe-4TP) to investigate the magnetic annealing effect on the resistance switching (RS) behavior of the Pt/ZnO:Fe/Pt structures. Compared with the ZnO:Fe-0T film, the ZnO:Fe-4TP film showed ...

Photoelectrochemical Performance Observed in Mn-Doped BiFeO3 Heterostructured Thin Films

Pure BiFeO₃ and heterostructured BiFeO₃/BiFe0.95Mn0.05O₃ (5% Mn-doped BiFeO₃) thin films have been prepared by a chemical deposition method. The band structures and photosensitive properties of these films have been investigated elaborately. Pure BiFeO₃ films showed stable and strong response to photo illumination (open circuit potential kept -0.18 V, short circuit photocurrent density was -0.0...

Doping and critical-temperature dependence of the energy gaps in Ba(Fe1−xCox)2As2 thin films

The dependence of the superconducting gaps in epitaxial Ba(Fe1−xCox)2As2 thin films on the nominal doping x (0.04 x 0.15) was studied by means of point-contact Andreev-reflection spectroscopy. The normalized conductance curves were well fitted by using the two-dimensional Blonder-Tinkham-Klapwijk model with two nodeless, isotropic gaps—although the possible presence of gap anisotropies cannot b...

Optical properties of nanostructured sol-gel thin films doped with Fe2O3 and their ferromagnetic characterization by Mössbauer spectroscopy.

Sol-gel thin films containing Fe2o3 were deposited onto glass substrates by the dip-coating method at room temperature. Fe2O3 enriched with the isotope 57Fe was embedded in two kinds of matrices: zinc oxide (ZnO) and silica (SiO2). X-ray diffraction (XRD) was used for morphology and structure determination of the nanostructures and showed that the ZnO exhibit a wurtzite form when the film is an...
